Why we built it

Reusing passwords is still one of the most common causes of account takeovers, mostly because inventing a strong new password every time is tedious. Pass Hut turns a strong password into a one-click task, and because generation happens locally with the Web Crypto API, the passwords are never transmitted to or stored by us.
